A design audit of the Polish market carried out by the Institute of Industrial Design covered 1200 products this year. 54 products were qualified for the finals of the Good Design 2009 Contest for the best designed products in the Polish market under the honorary patronage of the Minister of Economy in three categories: home sphere, work sphere, public sphere. The Institute of Industrial Design experts and an international jury assessed the products according to the following criteria: visual features, functional features, economic features, additional values.
